In case you’ve ever been in Pune or Mumbai over the previous couple of years, it’s hard to miss out on the yellow and pink little shops or the spirit lifting motors scooting round. Those stores and delivery vehicles are a QSR chain, Faaso’s, strted with the idea to serves the wraps and roles with an Indian twist. Jaydeep Barman, an IIM-Lukhnow alumnus, inspired by the Kathi Rolls from his hometown, Kolkata, co-founded Faaso’s in 2003.
Starting out from Pune, Faaso’s started out slowly but able to get some momentum and went on to raise $5 million from Sequoia Capital.
